Chip Tricks

Want to spice up your table image? Learn these chip tricks to impress your poker pals. It won't improve your skills at cards, but if nothing else, it's something to keep yourself entertained while waiting for the next hand to be dealt. 1. Shuffle Poker Chips The first thing most players learn to do is shuffle or "riffle" their chips. Once you figure it out, I've found, it's impossible not to shuffle your chips -- and it's fun. 2. The Poker Chip Snap Our Guide to Casino Gambling claims this is the easiest to master. While I'm not convinced if it's a snap to learn (but maybe I'm just not very dexterous), it is a fun trick and can be distracting to your opponents if you make the chip snap loud enough. 3. The Chip Flip Take three chips and flip the first in line to the back with this trick. Not showy, but a nice way to add a little flair before putting down a three-chip bet. 4. Butterfly Ok, this trick is really hard, I admit. But it's so very cool. And if I saw anyone who could do this at the table, I'd be very, very nervous. I'd certainly watch closely when they deal!
