There are so many funny articles, videos, and pictures related to poker and online gambling that you have to see if you are a poker fan. The popularity of poker began with the televised shows, shown for the first time in the US. Everyone remembers the old stars and mainly Doyle Brunson. The popularity of this game is felt very strongly nowadays. Let's take for example Lady Gagas number one hit "Poker face". There are also many TV show that are showing poker as a game with friends. There are many clips in "The Simpsons" or "Family guy". A few websites also collected funny poker quotes, pictures, videos or caricatures of poker pros. There are many people that turn to players after seeing all these videos, pictures. Lady gaga's Poker Face super hit also brought many poker players into the poker scene. If you think about starting to learn this wonderful game than this is the right time to do it. There are thousands of players online mainly on the big poker rooms like: Poker Stars, Full tilt , Everest , Ultimate Bet , Absolute, Carbon poker and others. How to Beat No-Limit Texas Hold Em
Do you want to hear something funny? I have been playing poker for over 5 years and probably Texas Holdem before many of you were even born. All that time and not once have I come across anything that remotely resembled my own strategies. Listen, I've made enough money in poker I don't have to worry about purchasing these products like the How To Beat No-Limit Texas Hold Em information. I simply do it to figure out how everyone else is playing. Seriously, if you already knew how your opponents were playing wouldn't it be easier to win? This is how I've played for years and at my age, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. However, you can help us old folks understand the new strategies and play the game that works against them. I do have normal tricks and techniques that most of them were found in the How To Beat No-Limit Texas Hold Em Review product. When it comes down to NL Hold'em, people are so tentative about going all in for the game. Unfortunately, this is due to lack of experience, lack of knowledge, and lack of confidence. If you can get all three of these different parts of online gaming, then you will most certainly win money that you never thought was possible. I enjoyed every minute (well, besides when I start getting tired) reading this eBook. It was definitely something many people should look forward to when playing online. Even those of you who seem to get skeptical (like me), try reading over everything involved on their landing page. In fact, if I remember correctly there is an area about half way down the page where you can read most of the first chapter. This is a nice benefit for someone who needs a little confirmation on the program before you spend any money. Then again, the most important thing is seeing this work in action. The only way you are going to do that is by purchasing the product, reading it over, and implementing it into your games. You have to think of this as more of an investment then an actual purchase. It's all about the ROI (return on investment) and if you spend the money to buy this then you most likely want to see positive results from its teachings. Even if you only won enough to get back what you spent, would you be happy? You should be. Most people who buy this stuff are caught up in the moment and don't really use it after that day. Even with the How To Beat No-Limit Texas Hold Em system, only about 20% of the people that purchase it will use it. The point is a product can be extremely popular on the Internet with thousands of people buying. However, how many of them will actually take advantage of it? Before it is all said and done, you are looking at around 5%. Yes, of the twenty percent of people who use it, only about five percent of them will read through everything and try everything. So rest assured you will be fine and this is not something everyone will be using to curbside your profits. One thing I will tell you though is if you make sure to do anything with this informational material, make sure to watch the videos. They can definitely bring great enjoyment to a lot of text learning. Hopefully, they will bring you money as well. |

Fun With Online Poker Tournaments
You are sitting around the house on Saturday night with nothing to do. There is nothing good on television even though you have hundreds of cable channels. You are sick of your movie collection and you do not feel like listening to music. In other words, you are bored. You are extremely bored. You wish someone were around so you could play a good old fashion game of Poker. Well guess what? Now you can join one of the many poker tournaments online and start having some fun right now. There is no need to be bored tonight because all you have to do is turn on your computer, sign up for a tournament, and make some new friends. There are hundreds of people playing in poker tournaments right now and you can meet some of them. Everyone is having a blast and so can you! It is very easy to play online. All that is needed is a flash enabled web browser and you are on your way. Some folks choose to download the software instead. Either way, online poker is safe and fun for all. In addition to high quality software, the servers are fast and secure. So you can rest assured knowing your money is safe. Best of all, everyone can play from the comfort of their own living rooms without ever having to be bothered with noisy crowds and parking. It is so much easier to endure at one of the US poker sites then it is when playing at a regular casino. The reason why is simple. If you are winning, the tournament could last for hours. Some folks do not have the endurance to stay for hours when they are at the casino. However, when they play from home it is easy to take a break or go to the kitchen for a snack. In other words, it is much easier to play longer from home. It is less stressful too. Therefore, your endurance is higher. You may even be able to win more often because you are playing the game from home. Online poker USA has another distinct advantage too. You can keep track of your standing and the other players standing with just the click of a mouse button. This is a very handy feature for those that like to keep up with the statistics, count chips, and play the game shrewdly. This is not easily done at the casino, unless of course you have a computer in your head. Which not many people possess. Another advantage to playing in tournaments is the online poker bonuses. They make it much easier for the first-time player to get their feet wet. The more experienced poker players will appreciate them too. Now, everyone can have fun with online poker tournaments when they take advantage of online poker bonuses. When you add it all up, your online poker tournaments of today are safe, fun, and entertaining. Why not check them out today. You will be so glad you did. |

My Best Royal Flush in Poker
Having a Royal flush is one of the best feelings in poker. At least it is very special when you have your first Royal flush. The reason for this is the rare chance of having a Royal flush dealt. On average you get this hand once every 649 739 dealt hands (I talk only about no limit Texas Hold'em). As you can see it can really take a long time until you get that hand. Some players will never get it. In online poker your chance is a lot better than in a casino or playing with your friends. The explanation is obvious: in an online game the average time/hand is a lot shorter than in a live game and you can play at many tables simultaneously. So why did I say in the title "my best Royal flush"? I stopped saving my Royal flushes after having 19 of them (mostly in Hold'em and some in Omaha). It is funny, for a long time I did not get any but then they started to come like once in every month. There was a period when I had 3 of them in about 10 days. The reason is why I have written "my best" is that it is hard to win a nice pot with a Royal flush. It makes so many draws on the board that it is difficult to build a pot with it. There is at least a straight draw and a flush draw as well, and your opponent has to have some part of the flop to come all the way to be all-in with you. I have won some quite good pots in cash games but my best Royal flush hand appeared in a Raketherake Freeroll tournament and the way the hand was played very interesting. Let's analyze now this hand. The blinds were 50/100 and having a more than 6 000 chip stack I had the 3rd biggest stack at the 9 handed table. I was sitting on the button with QsTs. Everyone folded to me and I thought it was the perfect chance to take the blinds. I raised to 600, the small blind folded and the big blind called. His stack was a little below 4 000. This was an interesting call from him. He played quite good until now. But why did he call? With a pocket pair of TT or JJ he would have reraised probably, while if he put me on a bluff he had the chance of going all-in and rather not see the flop. This player was also a very tight one. I decided to play the hand cautiously. The flop was: KcJs5h. My opponent checked and I had an open ended straight draw. I had position and I was the preflop aggressor so it was a perfect flop for a continuation bet. Maybe the word semi-bluff is better, because I did not have anything at the moment but I had a straight draw to the nuts. I bet 800 into the 1 300 pot and my opponent made a very quick call. Hmmm this made me think he had to have some piece of the flop. The turn card was: Ks. My opponent checked again. This turn card did not make me too happy. All the signs showed me until now that my opponent had a pocket pair or a piece of the flop. It is also important to note that the pot was 2 900 and my opponent had a bit less than 2 400 left. This was not the best moment for bluffing. If he had something, he would be pot committed. He would call me now with any J or K, not even mentioning some other possible pocket pairs in hand. I was not beating any of these hands. An argument for betting here is that now I had picked up also a flush draw to my straight draw and with some luck maybe a Q or a T could also be a winner for me. I still thought it was better not to risk a large amount of my chips and I waited to see the river. I checked. The river card hit and it was the: As. Yes! I hit my backdoor Royal flush. Now the situation had changed and I started to pray and hope that my opponent had something strong. He did not check but bet 1 200: about half of his remaining stack. Perfect! With a mediocre hand he would push all-in or check-fold. However he made a value bet in the end and wanted to induce a call from me. I put him all-in and he made a quick call. I won the hand and got to see his AhAd. I tell you honestly I have no idea how I finished on that tournament. Still it was a very memorable hand when my Royal flush had beaten aces full of kings. Just for the record, the suits in poker are also ranked and spades are the strongest. So in this hand I even had the strongest Royal flush. When you play poker it is also very important to have your memorable moments; moments that you will always remember happily in your poker career. If you would like to see deeper analysis with the concrete numbers and chances, please visit our website and take an active part in the analyzing process. |

Adapting Your Strategy To Fit The Game
In the game of poker you need to be able to adapt your strategy as needed while playing the game. Think of it like shifting gears in a car you change gear to adapt to the speed and terrain you are driving on - the same applies to the game of poker. Being able to adapt is one of the most crucial skills you can learn and use to your advantage. Lets back up a bit and explain why it's so important so you can judge for yourself the necessity of adapting. In any poker game the situation is always changing - you will be dealt different hands and so will your opponents, you will bet differently and so will your opponents and perhaps most importantly your opponents will always be changing so the game will never be the same twice. Being able to adapt means altering your mindset to fit the particular game you are playing and the players you are playing with - as the situation changes you need to be able to adapt accordingly if you expect to make money with poker. Now you may be thinking you have a strategy that always works, maybe it's a "style" you like to play, a certain attitude you like to portray? If this is the case then why adapt to each new game? There are two primary reasons why you may need to adapt your play the first is exploiting certain circumstances you may be faced with. For example, lets say you are playing a game of online Texas Holdem and you are dealt a hand that would normally be an automatic fold for you. The difference this time is that the only person on the table who has bet has a strong tendency towards bluffing - this might be a golden opportunity for you to adapt to a situation and play to your potential benefit knowing the information. The second reason you may need to adapt your play is so you don't become predictable (like the player that always bluffs in the above example). Being difficult for other players to read is a huge advantage in any poker game - why give your opponents any advantage over you? If your moves can be predicted then you will have a pattern that your opponents will learn to follow and capitalize on as they counter your moves. It won't take long for other players to learn when to call, raise or fold when playing with you no matter what hand is dealt. If you are willing to adapt to the situation at hand then you become less likely to predict and other players won't be able to take advantage of any holes in your game. While the above are the primary reasons for adapting play there are a few other advantages. This may seem obvious but you should be adjusting your play based on how you are doing in a particular game. The obvious being if your bankroll is running low you should tighten up your play in order to protect your chips. And vice versa is true - if your bankroll is looking rather healthy then maybe you should use that to your advantage as an intimidation tactic. You can often steal blinds by making large bets. And to state the obvious - if you have the right cards and you are making large bets then you stand a good chance of taking down chips even if you're called you still could win the hand. The final piece of advice I have to share about adapting to play is based on who you are playing with and the number of players you are playing against. The concept is simple, the number of opponents you are playing against will impact the odds of winning your hand. Simple math - your odds will change depending on how many players are in the pot one, two, three, etc. Who you are playing against is also very important - the expertise and habits of your opponents should play a factor in how you adapt to play. Try and identify patterns of play - are they an aggressive or reserved player? Do they have a tendency for bluffing? Is there a pattern to their betting? And any other tell factors you may pick up on and use to your advantage. I hope this article helped you see all the beneficial ways that being able to adapt play can mean the difference between winning or losing. Flexibility is important when playing poker - especially online as your opponents can change more frequently. Learn to adapt and you will stay ahead of the competition, if you don't then it will be difficult to make money with poker playing online. It's evolution - the poker players that adapt will survive and profit. |

Russian man Andrei Karpov lost his wife in a game
A Russian man Andrei Karpov lost his wife in a game of cards after losing bet from Brodov. When he lost bet her wife was so angry of him for using her as bet that she divorced him. She said: ‘It was humiliating and I was utterly ashamed. But as soon as my ex-husband did that I knew I had to leave him. ‘Sergey was a very handsome, charming man and I am very happy with him, even if he did “win” me in a poker game.’ |

Poker Dealer's Tips - Shut Your Mouth
Poker dealers watch a lot of poker and have seen a lot of hands played. They have seen it all. They get tips when the players take massive wins and watch the despair of the players that lose. Poker dealers often know a thing or two about poker because they are in and around the game so much. I'm going to share my poker dealers tips with you that I got from him when we had little chat. Poker Dealer's Tips - Shut Your Mouth This is slightly funny, but my poker dealer seemed to think that being quiet at a poker table was very important for your overall game. I don't know if it was just that he had heard a lot of junk slander at the poker table for too long and was fed up or if this actually had some real essence. He explained that a lot of players might talk a bit at the table, for whatever reason. It could be to try to put their opponents of, create a distraction, annoy people, get them off their game, or whatever other reason. The tip, which is to NOT do this, is both a bit of courtesy, for the other players and the dealer, and also a method of creating efficiency. Lets face it, poker is hard enough at the best of times. You have way to much to think about and deal with, calculate and estimate, to have the time to be talking crap to the guy next to you. The next time you want to blabber on, calculate some pot odds, guess what cards your opponent has, size up everyones stacks, do something, do anything. Final point: never ever fold your cards and then start talking, this is a big no no. I thought that this poker dealers tips were pretty good. Constantly winning pots in poker is the tried and proven way of winning more money in your Texas Hold em poker career. Try these tips next time your playing No Limit Hold em and see how well you go. |
